- Full Service (EMC staff performs instrument operations and sample preparation for users)
The Spectra 300 and Talos F200C electron microscopes feature user-friendly interfaces and are self-directed/self-operated, with a user-assisted option available. The Glacios 2, Krios G4, and Aquilos 2 electron microscopes require operation by EMC staff.
An initial training fee will be assessed for Spectra 300 and Talos F200C users in accordance with the EMC billing rate schedule. The EMC Facility Manager will schedule all new users for mandatory training on ATOMM facility operating procedures, safety protocols, and specific instrumentation.
Training will consist of hands-on demonstration and instruction to enable independent microscope operation.
